NAMI Signature Programs offer opportunities for peer support and leadership development needed to build better lives.  

In addition to signature programs, the NAMI DC Helpline (202) 546-0646 is available Monday-Friday, 10am-1pm, ET. The helpline staff provide a listening ear, support, education, and referrals to other resources in the community.

A free 12 week educational program for family members, friends, and caregivers of individuals living with mental illness.  NAMI DC will host a new session of this evidenced-based program for the community starting soon.  If you are interested in participating please contact NAMI DC at (202) 546-0646 or via email at namidc@namidc.org to register today.


In Our own voice

A presentation for the public to help promote awareness about mental illness and remove stigma.  Two trained speakers share compelling stories of what it is like to live with the challenges of mental illness. Audience participation and discussion are encouraged, and a brief video accompanies the presentation. Each presentation lasts approximately 60-90 minutes. 


Sharing Hope

A presentation tailored to African American Communities of faith that help spread the message of support and healing to those affected by mental illness.
